We are an established and growing restoration general contractor that specializes in rebuilding and restoring residential buildings after a flood, fire, or other natural disaster. We are seeking a Facilities Assistant/Material Runner to support the day-to-day operations of the restoration company by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies between company facilities, vendor locations, warehouses, and job sites. This position also assists with facility maintenance, warehouse organization, inventory management, vehicle upkeep, and general operational support to ensure crews have the resources necessary to complete projects efficiently and professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Material & Equipment Management:
- Deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to active job sites in a timely manner.
- Pick up materials from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Load, unload, and transfer equipment between company facilities and job sites.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and organization of warehouse materials.
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and returned to designated storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management.
Facility Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse and office environment.
- Perform general building maintenance tasks including light repairs, painting, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining storage containers, equipment yards, and company facilities.
- Support seasonal property maintenance including snow removal, salting, landscaping, and exterior cleanup.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and housekeeping requirements.
Fleet & Asset Support:
- Assist with vehicle inspections, cleaning, fueling, and basic maintenance.
- Monitor company tools and equipment for damage or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment movement and deliveries.
- Assist with equipment staging and mobilization for emergency response projects.
Operational Support:
- Assist restoration, construction, environmental, contents, and cleaning divisions as needed.
- Support emergency response operations by preparing equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
- Participate in warehouse organization projects and facility improvement initiatives.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate company trucks, trailers, and warehouse equipment safely.
- Previous warehouse, construction, restoration, moving, delivery, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and building materials preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or ability to obtain certification).
