About the Job
We are an established and growing restoration general contractor that specializes in rebuilding and restoring residential buildings after a flood, fire, or other natural disaster. We are seeking a Business Development Representative II professional to join our team.

As a Business Development Representative II, you will drive company growth by generating new sales opportunities and feeding high-quality leads into our sales funnel. You will be the face of our company, building trust with key industry stakeholders, managing community marketing campaigns, and serving as a calming guide for clients during disaster restoration situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Building & Targeting: Identify and connect with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, fire marshals, educational institutions, and facilities managers.
  • Field Marketing & Networking: Conduct monthly on-site visits to key targets and actively participate in industry associations, chambers of commerce, trade shows, and networking events (including golf tournaments and holiday functions).
  • Emergency Response & Disaster Management: Confidently step into high-stress disaster situations to guide clients through the restoration process. Maintain 24/7 cell phone availability for urgent restoration responses.
  • Community Engagement: Plan and execute company charity initiatives, including food bank donations, toy drives, and clothing collections.
  • Event Coordination: Host and organize educational lunches for insurance agencies and property management companies.
  • Portfolio Management: Maintain and update the company’s marketing portfolio with visual and written case studies of completed projects.
  • Emergency Lead Generation: Proactively identify and solicit emergency restoration opportunities ("chasing" active leads).

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Education: Associate degree, or comparable sales/marketing experience, ideally within the insurance or property restoration industries.
  • Approach: Strong "soft sell" approach rooted in empathy, consultation, and exceptional customer service.
  • Communication: Flawless oral and written communication skills with the ability to write concise emails, facilitate meetings, and deliver engaging presentations.
  • Work Ethic: Highly self-motivated, independent, and self-disciplined with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding relationship-building, interviewing, and active listening capabilities.
